Editing week 2

 We edited for the second week this past week. We edited in a title card. We matched up the music so that an intense part of the music played at the same time words showed up. We kept the music playing through out and lowered in when lines were spoken. We added in simple fade in and fade out transitions as we didn't want it to distract it from the story too much. We also ended up adding a voice over for a scream we had at the end of the film.

I chose to comment on the movie Inception. I've seen it a few times before and I like it so much, I chose to revisit it for this assignment. 1.       Establishing shot of children on the beach. They were playing and building a sand structure of some sort. Laughing and giggling could be heard throughout this scene too. They were also running around with each other. You can hear the waves crashing in the background again and again. It is a calm start to an otherwise face paced movie. 1.       This is an over the shoulder shot of the main character though we do not know he’s the main character yet. Since it is the beginning of the movie and we still do not know much, its kind of mysterious. The dialogue, as you can see from the closed captions, is ominous. It’s making you think who this guy is, and why might he want to kill the other character. Its doing a great job of drawing the viewer in to stay for the rest of the film. 1.   ...

  This is a close up shot because i focused on only the pen. I just held my phone with one hand, and picked up the pen with the other. This is an establishing shot. Its of my house. It shows peacefulness.  This is a low angle shot of my dog. I'm not sure if you can tell but he was growling at me because he was growing tired of my antics. This is a head on shot of my plushie toy being thrown at the camera. I tried to get my dog to run toward the camera, but he was not cooperating.                                                                                        This is a high angle shot of my dog.I was above his head.
